ASTRAL TECHNOLOGIES
Privacy
How we handle information when you visit our website or contact us.

Who operates this website
Astral Technologies is the brand under which this website and SCHMS are currently operated by its founders in Nigeria. References to Astral, we, us and our mean the current operators of the Astral Technologies venture.
Children
This corporate website and contact form are intended for business enquiries, not for children to submit personal information. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information through this form. Contact us if such information has been submitted so we can assess appropriate action. Children's data processed by schools through SCHMS requires separate school and service documentation.
What this notice covers
This notice covers visitors to Astral's public website and people who contact us through it. Personal data that schools process through SCHMS is governed by separate school and service arrangements, including the school's own notices and applicable customer agreements. This website notice does not replace those arrangements.
Information you provide
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, work email, organisation where relevant, optional phone number, reason and message. SCHMS enquiries also include your role and an approximate student-count range. Please share only the information needed for your enquiry and avoid sending student records or other sensitive personal information.
How and why we use information
We use enquiry details to respond, assess a possible business conversation and maintain appropriate business records. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before an agreement, pursue legitimate interests in responding and operating the venture where those interests do not override your rights, or meet a legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.
Technical request and security information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse and understand aggregate performance. We do not use contact details for advertising or send form contents into analytics.
Hosting and website measurement
Vercel hosts the website and processes technical request information needed to operate and secure it. Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate website use, and Speed Insights measures website performance. Our measurement integration removes query strings and fragments from measured URLs and limits conversion events to fixed names and, where relevant, a contact-reason category. It does not include your name, email, phone, organisation, message or student-count range.
We do not add advertising cookies or cross-site marketing trackers. Necessary provider security processing may still occur; this is not a claim that the website collects no data.
Protecting the contact form
Cloudflare Turnstile helps distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. It may process technical and security signals necessary for that purpose. We send the verification token to Cloudflare for validation, not your enquiry message. A hidden abuse-detection field and hosting firewall controls may also help protect submissions.
Delivering and sharing enquiries
Resend processes submitted enquiry details to deliver an internal email to the inbox designated by Astral's operators. During the initial deployment this is an operator's personal inbox used for Astral enquiries. We do not publish that routing address or automatically email acknowledgements to visitors. We do not keep contact messages in an Astral website database.
Access is limited to operators and service providers who need it for these purposes. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, address abuse or resolve a dispute. We do not sell contact details.
International service providers
Our hosting, security and delivery providers may process information outside Nigeria. We consider applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards for international processing, and limit the information shared to what each service needs.
Retention
We retain enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, protect legitimate interests and satisfy legal obligations. Provider services may retain information for their own necessary operational and security purposes. We do not claim a fixed retention period that has not been operationally established.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, server-side validation, restricted configuration and abuse protection. No website or email service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit confidential school records through this public form.
Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law and its conditions, you may request access, correction, restriction, objection, erasure or portability of your personal data. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. Some information may need to be retained where a lawful ground applies.
Use the Contact page to request assistance or raise a privacy concern. We may ask for proportionate information to verify a request. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. These statements do not limit rights available under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 or other applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the website, operators or services change. The update date appears above. Use the Contact page for privacy questions; incorporation and official contact details will be reflected when established.
